The team of professionals from Maya M.I. Detecting and Mapping Underground Infrastructure Ltd. acquired SPH Engineering's insights on best practices to make methane detection surveys with drones and how to do data post-processing, create emission maps, and reports for stakeholders.
The training was organized at SPH’ Engineering's TestRange with drone flights in simulated real-life scenarios to detect leaks of the methane.
During the training participants are tough how to create a drone survey mission with UgCS to acquire the best results, sharing SPH’s know-how for drone-based methane detection.
The training includes also demonstrations on how to mount sensors and UgCS SkyHub on the drone for True Terrain Following (TTF) to ensure safe and stable drone flight over complicated terrain following the terrain in live mode (not requiring DEM).
