A colourful drone show, depicting the symbol of the city of Riga, a cockerel, along with the globe, logos of TechChill, SPH Engineering, BaseMotion, Light A Sky, Astranate, and New Hansa, was seen in the sky near Hanzas Perons. 200 drones rose to a height of 100 meters, showcasing a stunning display of technology and creativity - the first drone show of this magnitude in Latvia.
The show featured cutting-edge Drone Show Technology from SPH Engineering and was designed and programmed by BaseMotion, a well-known Latvian company. It was implemented in collaboration with Drone Show Community members Light A Sky from Lithuania and Astranate from Poland, resulting in an international showcase of dazzling lights and technology.
"We are thrilled that SPH Engineering's logo lit up the sky over Riga last night. Our latest drone technology provided the power and precision necessary to execute this flawless performance. At SPH Engineering, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible with drones, and we are excited to continue working with Drone Show Community members to create even more innovative and spectacular shows. Together, we aim to lead the industry in drone show design and programming," said Alex Levandovskiy, head of Drone Show Technology division at SPH Engineering.
The event was part of TechChill, an annual technology and startup event that has been taking place in Riga for 11 years. The organizers of TechChill strive to showcase Latvia as a technology and innovation hub, and this drone show was a testament to that.
