Tech Support Engineer

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Tech Support Engineer to join our Engineering team, focusing on client assistance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for SPH Engineering products via Jira Service Desk, email, and phone.
Act as a link between customers and the technical team, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
Continuously improve the support experience for SPH software users.
Contribute user stories, insights, and ideas to the marketing team (articles, FAQs, how-to content, videos, etc.).
Create, update, and refine training materials, user manuals, and other technical documentation.

Requirements

UAV flight principles and basic drone operations
Mission planning concepts (flight patterns, waypoints, coverage)
GNSS/GPS basics and navigation fundamentals.
Technical troubleshooting methodology.
Log file analysis and diagnostic tools.
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) as we are an international company.
Customer support experience.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Nice-To-Have

Knowledge of geophysical survey methods (GPR, magnetometry, bathymetry,gravimetry).
GIS fundamentals (projections, coordinate systems, datum transformations).
Familiarity with geospatial data formats (KML, shapefiles, GeoTIFF).
Basics of photogrammetry or remote sensing.
Background in geography, geology, or surveying.
UAV pilot certification.
Experience with professional survey equipment.
