Business Development Manager

SPH Engineering builds professional drone solutions used in 150+ countries. This role supports our Integrated Systems line: UAV payload integrations for geophysical, hydrographic, and industrial applications.

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales team, focusing on active outbound sales and partner network development in the APAC region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market and sales strategy for advanced drone solutions in APAC, expanding our presence in priority countries, sectors, and use cases;
  • Drive new business from direct customers and partners (from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals), consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly targets and KPIs;
  • Grow revenue from existing accounts by identifying new applications, upselling additional solutions, and building long-term relationships with key decision-makers;
  • Build and strengthen the regional partner ecosystem by identifying, onboarding, and enabling new distributors/resellers and deepening cooperation with existing ones;
  • Use modern outbound tools (social selling, email campaigns, automated outreach) and structured market/competitor insights to open new opportunities, refine strategy, and feed customer feedback into product and internal process improvements, while keeping CRM and pipeline data accurate and up to date.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of outbound B2B international sales experience with drones, survey equipment, or related geospatial / industrial tech vendors or service providers;
  • Proven “hunter” track record: defining ICPs, researching and sourcing prospects, running discovery calls, and moving opportunities from first contact to closed deals;
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including objection handling and closing in multi-stakeholder, technical sales;
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for engineering, operations, and management teams;
  • Confident user of CRM and modern sales tools (e.g. Clay, Lusha, Apollo, LinkedIn) for lead generation and pipeline management;
  • High proficiency in English and Chinese.

Would Be a Big Advantage

  • Knowledge and experience in the mining, construction, geophysical, or hydrographical industries;
  • Proficiency in Korean and/or Japanese.

Location

Remote in Europe or APAC (preferably China, South Korea, or Malaysia); frequent travel across APAC.
