Videos must be original, comprised of video footage gathered with a drone or other UAV/S, and should feature an engineering or construction project. Additionally, videos should be between 1:00-5:00 in length. There is no fee to enter. All submitted videos will be viewed and judged by a prestigious panel of judges to select the top 10 to be voted on publicly. Deadline to enter is May 6, 2022.
The winner will be awarded with a feature article and cover in Civil+Structural Engineer Magazine and UgCS EXPERT. It is a new software license from SPH Engineering for drone pilots using LiDAR. The UgCS LiDAR toolset supports the most popular UAV-based LiDARs and allows to plan and fly LiDAR area scans, perform corridor mapping; and it comes with in-built IMU calibration tools.
‘It is great to contribute to EDVY 2022. It is the 2nd year in a row when we support the event. Last year I joined the jury panel and was impressed with the quality and concepts of submitted videos. I wish good luck to all the participants in 2022,’ Alexey Dobrovolskiy, CTO at SPH Engineering, comments.
